I'm Les Dershem of Celtic Warrior Sound, and I got my start providing sound reinforcement and lighting services while a student at Trotwood Madison High School. Retired after a long career in law enforcement and the military, I've started my own business. I am presently majoring in Theatre Technology at Sinclair Community College in Dayton. My daughter is a professional violin/fiddle player, and I restarted my sound reinforcement career providing sound equipment and sound engineer services for her and some of her fellow Irish musicians. Although I am currently providing sound reinforcement services only, I plan on adding lighting services in the future.
I have worked on set construction, sound and lighting services and stage crew for:
- Theatrical and musical productions at Trotwood Madison
- Sinclair Community College Theatre productions of "Taking Steps" and "Stop Kiss" (2008-2009 season) and "Little Shop of Horrors" and "Dog Sees God" (2009-2010 season)
- Irish musicians performing at Second Street Market, Riverside Community Festival and Dayton Celtic Festival.
- I have also done outdoor political rallies and wedding receptions.
